Outlaw Kidnaps Innocent Queen
Macavity followed, waiting for just the right moment, once she was near her home. Dem stopped at the water trough to pat a horse then continued down the street towards her log house that was at the end of the street. She reached her steps and opened her door. Macavity took his chance. He darted from the shadows and grabbed one of her arms, twisting it sharply around her. His other paw cupped over Demeter's mouth. "Howdy, Miss," he teased meanly. Dem dropped her food on the porch and tried to scream but it was too late. She put up a mean struggle though... but it was still no use. Macavity wrapped his arm around her and pulled her back against his chest. "Let's go without a struggle, now, Miss Demeter. I'd hate to have to hurt you anymore." He tightened his grip on her twisted arm to prove his point. Dem eyes were wide with fear but she winched in pain. She nodded her head that she would go without a fight. Macavity smiled and pulled her around the back. His horse was waiting. He pushed her onto it, then climbed up himself. Dem sat on the horse she dared not struggle the last thing she needs is to fall off a running horse. "You won't get away with this," she said in a calm voice. "I already have," Macavity purred, giving her a quick kiss. He slapped his horse. The horse snorted and started to run, out of town, down towards the Forbidden Caves outside of the town. Dem hung tight to the horse as he ran. "Youre creep!!" she hissed. "Munk will find me," she tried to reassure herself. "Such bad words from such a sweet dame," Macavity teased, kissing her cheek as the horse ran on. "Sweet... ha you know nothing about me... of course I wouldn't expect a no good lousy excuse for an outlaw like you to know me because I would NEVER associate my self with the likes of YOU!!!" She moved away from him as she felt his lips on her cheek. "You don't have a choice, my dear," Macavity purred, pulling her close again. The horse picked up speed, pushing Dem farther back in his arms. Dem stayed silent, she had nothing more to say to this outlaw. Macavity's horse slowed at the cave. Macavity jumped down and pulled Demeter off with him. "Come on now," he said, shoving her roughly towards the cave. Dem jolted forward when he shoved her from behind. Her eyes narrowed. She made a sudden move and bolted off to the side trying to get away from Macavity. "HELP SOME ONE HELP ME..." she was yelling as she ran. Macavity, however, moved too fast. In one move he had leaped to her side and captured her once again in his arms. He took out his gun and touched it to her head. "I wouldn't try anything that stupid again, Miss Demeter. I would not like to have to kill you." Dem eyes widened as the gun was put to her head. "I would rather die... than be here with you!!" she hissed at him. Macavity clicked his tongue. "Oh, is that so? Just for that, I'll make sure your stay here is not so pleasant." He dragged her back into the cave, the gun still to her head. Dem went silently for fear that he might hurt her in some way. Macavity turned off into a hidden alcove. It was well furnished for being just a cave. A pile of warm blankets lay in one corner. Several items lay scattered around the floor. A fire had been built in another corner. Macavity gave Demeter a sudden push that sent her sprawling onto the pile of blankets. Dem picked herself up off the blankets. "They will find me and when they do..." she started to threaten him. Macavity suddenly grabbed her cheeks and locked his mouth with hers in a painful kiss. When he released it, he shoved her back down on the blankets. Dem was disgusted. "You monster!! You'll be hanging on Deadman's tree by supper time," she hissed again spitting in his face. Macavity slapped her across the face harshly. "I hold your life in my paws, my dear. I suggest you be more civilized." Dem let out some tears of pain. She began to cry. "Please let me go... please.!" She was crying in fear and in pain. Macavity tapped her playfully on the nose with his finger. "Now, Dem, don't go spoilin' your pretty face with those tears." Dem let him tap her on the nose but didn't enjoy it. "What do you expect me to.?" she demanded. Macavity smiled and wrapped a blanket around her shoulders. "Well, if you proceed in crying, I will just have to give you a real reason to cry." Dem wiped the tears away from her face. " If you hadn't brought me here..." Macavity suddenly grasped her chin painfully in his paw. "Listen, Demeter, I won't go for your whiny games and your crying. Do you understand me?" His golden eyes were hard. His grip on her chin tightened even more. Dem let out a little whine of pain, as she averted her eyes. Macavity's eyes clouded with anger. He let go of her fiercely enough to jerk her head to the side. He suddenly shoved her down on the blankets and glared at her, his eyes full of anger. Dem tried to stop the tears from coming down again. "What do you want me for any ways... I am not rich... I haven't any position of importance," she said with tear-filled eyes. Macavity smiled. "Isn't it obvious, my dear?" Dem knew why but she was trying to convince herself it wasn't true. "No, it isn't," she said shyly. Macavity smiled and gave her a soft kiss on the lips. "I love you." Dem was disgusted but didn't say anything or pull away. "You... you love me... but you hardly even know me," she said in a surprised tone. Macavity smiled. "I've seen you enough. I watched you for a long time." Dem sat up, a little serious about this fascination he has with her. "Yes... it is one thing to see a cat but seeing and knowing are two very different things," she stated. Macavity smiled and ran a hand down her cheek. "I'm sure I'll love you once I've tried you." Dem pushed his hand away from her cheek. "What do you mean tried me?" she asked a little worried for her safety. Macavity responded by pushing her back on the blanket and kissing her deeply, his leg touching her thigh. Dem squirmed pushing him off of her. She got up and tried to run for it. Macavity casually aimed his gun and hit the ground right in front of her feet. He wrapped his arm around her and pulled her close. "Calm down." Dem bit his arm, and made it out of the cave entrance. Macavity hissed. He aimed his gun and shot straight at her, enough to have the bullet sink into her side. It was not a fatal shot, but it would hurt like Heavyside, and it would be enough to make her fall. Dem felt a pain in her side unlike she had ever felt before. She turned and looked at Mac with a 'how could you do that to me' look on her face and fell to the ground unconscious. Macavity calmly picked her up and carried her back inside, dressed the wound, and laid her on the blankets again, stroking her face with a damp cloth. Dem lay there with her eyes shut, not moving. Macavity wrapped another blanket around her to keep her warm. He slowly brushed a kiss over her forehead and rubbed her cheek. Dem let out a moan of pain. Macavity gently stroked her lips with his finger. "Shh. It's okay, Demeter. You'll be okay." He gently opened her mouth and poured some water in it, rubbing her throat to make her swallow. Dem opened her eyes. "What.... Owww..." she said when there was a sudden sharp pain in her side. She looked down to see the flesh wound from the gun. "Ahhh... why?" she asked. "Why what?" Macavity mused, stroking his whiskers absently. Dem looked up at him with tears in her eyes. " Why... did you shoot me?" she said in a low voice. "I told you not to run," Macavity said simply. "You ran, so I shot." Dem put a paw on her side. "You still didn't have to shoot me..." she said in a low voice. "You wouldn't have stopped, if I hadn't," Macavity told her, touching her paw. Dem moved her paw away and cringed in pain. "You should have just let me go," she said in a low tone. "Why would I do that?" Macavity teased, giving her a quick kiss. Dem pushed him away with what strength she had left. "If you hadn't taken me in the first place non of this would have happened," she said looking away. Macavity smirked. "I would have gotten you eventually." Dem stayed silent and looked away. Tears stated to form in her eyes. Macavity brushed a kiss over her cheek. "Don't cry, Dem. I won't hurt you." Dem eye widened. "Hurt me!! Hello... you shot me!!" she yelled at him. Macavity clapped a paw over her mouth to shut her up. "I HAD to. You wouldn't have stopped. I warned you before." Dem squealed as his paw went over her mouth. Macavity glared at her. "If you value your life, you'll keep your mouth shut!" he snarled. Dem stared at him and made a zipping motion with her paw across her mouth. "Very funny, Demeter," Macavity said, stroking her whiskers with a paw. Dem pushed his paw away and then winched with pain. "Can I get some thing to eat around here... or will you shoot me if I eat too," she said sarcastically. "Watch your tongue," Macavity snarled. He turned and handed her some water in a canteen and a few pieces of dried meat, common to many cowcats in the area. Dem looked at the food. "That will do," she said taking some. Macavity smiled, then lay back a bit. Dem took the food and ate some small bites but it was hard for her to move due to the bloody pain in her side. Macavity twitched his tail thoughtfully. Without looking at her, he said, "If you're in pain, I have some ointment in my pack that might help." Dem looked at him. " Fine!" she said in between her teeth. Macavity hissed. "Don't be snippy, or I won't!" He reached into his pack and pulled out a bottle. Demeter gulped wondering what he was going to pull out of his bag. Macavity opened the bottle and poured some liquid into a cloth. He held it out to Demeter. "Here. Put this on it for a while. It will help." Dem took the cloth hesitantly. "Thank.. thank you," she said looking at him. | |
