Heading Back to Town for Supplies
"Why don't I come with you?" Sassy offered. "You might need help carrying the supplies. That is unless Teazer needs help here." Sassy glanced at Teazer to see if she needed Sassy to stay. Teazer had planned to go to town with Mungo " well, oiy wou' need help 'ere if oiym gonna be stoiying" she said giving Sassy a funny glance. "Well, I just thought maybe I could go but if you want to..." Sassy voice trailed off. She shrugged. "You can go if you want to." Teazer nodded "Oiy do" she paused. "But if you need me 'ere oiy con stay." Sassy shrugged again. "I don't think I need any help. Is there any one here in case I do?" Sassy looked expectantly as Jerrie waiting for an answer. "There eis some farm 'ands 'ere." Teazer said to Sassy, happy she got to go with Jerrie. Sassy nodded. "All right I think I can manage." Mungojerrie smiled at the two queens. "Well Sassy I know you can handle things while I'm gone. You're in charge. Come on, Teaz," he said as he walked to the corral that his horse was in. "See you later!" Sassy called as she watched the two cats leaving. "See ya Sassy." Teeazer said with a smile as she followed Jerrie. Sassy glanced around to see how many cows were left to brand. "Not very many," she murmured to herself. "Shouldn't take long." She then went back to branding. ***** >^..^< *****
His companion rode next to him. He was riding a black and white painted pinto pony, Cochise. "Is this the place Tugger?" He asked looking at his friend all dressed in black. "This is the saloon all right, Alonzo." He said and got off his horse with Alonzo. They both entered the Saloon. A Silver queen, Sitara, Saw the two cats enter. Sitara was a dangerous yet femi outlaw queen. She grinned at the two "Hey boys" she said standing in front of them. "Hi. I'm Rum Tum Tugger." Said the one dressed in black. "And this is Alonzo." Tugger pointed to the White and black spotted cat next to him. "We just arrived her from Mexico." Alonzo stuck out his hand to shake hers. "It's so different here. I always thought I had cowboy blood in me." Alonzo said with his Mexican accent. "We're looking for a ranch called the Ponderosa." Tugger said. Bom looked up from her conversation with Griddlebone. "Hey guys," she called. "Can I get you something to drink?" Alonzo walks over to the Beautiful Bombs. "Ya, um...could I get a shot of whisky." He says and takes a seat. Alonzo looked over at Tugger who was in awe. "Are you comin', Tugger?" Tugger looked down at Alonzo. "Oh ya.Um...could I get some whisky too." He takes a seat next to Alonzo. "Wow she's soooo beautiful." Tugger whispered in Alonzo's ear. "Coming up boys," Bom said and winked at them. The slim silver queen shook his paw and then before she even got her name out he had already gone to that Red Queen .... *Those two are so cute!* Bom thought as she got the drinks. "Here you go boys," Bom said as she set the drinks down. “Thanks." Said Alonzo and Tugger. "Um I was wondering if you could help us." Tugger began. "We're looking for a ranch called the Ponderosa." "Hmm..." Bom thought a moment. "I'm not sure but it might be Jerrie's ranch. I'll ask him next time I see him." "Thanks." Said Alonzo as he put his empty glass of whisky on the counter. "How much for the whisky?" He said looking through his pockets for change. "This was the best whisky I've ever had." Said Tugger. "Seventeen cents a piece," Bom answered. :Jeez, those two are so cute!: Bom thought. Alonzo handed her 17 cents, and Tugger did the same. "Thank you." Said Alonzo. As he put his hat back on and tightened his belt. "I'm glad I got a purdy girl like you to serve us." He said and tipped his hat. "now em. where did you say we could find this Mungo Jerrie, fellow?" "Thank you kindly sir," Bom said with a smile. "I believe Jerrie went back to his ranch but forgot his weekly supplies. He'll prob'ly be back into town soon to pick it up. You might want to check the general store for him. Good luck finding him and I hope you boys come back here soon." "Thank you." Alonzo said as he walked out of the bar. "I'm sure we'll be back very soon. Now if you'd excuse us me and my partner, Alonzo must go look for Mungo Jerrie." He tipped his hat and started to walk out of the bar. "Thanks again." Alonzo got on his horse and so didn't Tugger. They both went to go find Mungo Jerrie. Griddlebone didn't say anything the entire time the two sat in the saloon, and all she said after they left was, "Remarkable." Then she turned to Bombalurina. "Isn't this exciting? The people and things here are so new and different!" Bom thought a moment. "Yeah I guess things can be exciting. I suppose it doesn't seem like much if you've lived here a while." | |
